When I used to fight, I'd grapple and punch once I got control (hence why I lost to a guy bigger and stronger). I wanted to fight at a gym because I wanted it in a controlled environment where you wouldn't have friends to jump me or use a weapon or something. You refused to do it and insisted on it being a street fight, then escalated the rhetoric again by talking about killing me.
