Gruden is probably the last thing Cam needs, but I guess I wouldn't throw a fit if he was dumb enough to come here.

He's the opposite of a 'stable' retread.

What has he ever really done? Other than yes win a SB with Dungy's team but against his old team running all his plays. There are clips from that game where the defensive guys are saying "just exactly like they told us" type stuff.

By the way, I'd be happy to have Rex Ryan if the Jets let him go.

He, Sumlin, and Shaw are all viable candidates (WHY ARE THERE NO BLACK HEAD COACHES OMGRAWR!), but Jerry has shown that he thinks college football is a step away from peewee. Protect the shield, bitches.

I'm on record as being a fan of McDaniels, but that won't happen. I share strat's sentiment about no one exciting me. It would be really encouraging if Jerry would take a college candidate seriously enough to get an interview, and if they looked at someone with an offensive background. If it's another NFL DC then .

Fuck me sideways. I just fucking realized it's going to be Del Rio. It is. It fucking is. Jerry is going to offer him this gig and he'll choose Carolina over USC. Fuck me, fuck me, fuck me.

    OH MY GOD, THE PASSION!

Speaking of Del Rio pretty every message board broncos fan I find wonders why they don't cover TEs.

Gruden built the Raiders into a SB team and took the Bucs, who couldn't get over the hump before he got there, over the hump and got them a SB victory.

He kept them pretty good through a time when they didn't have a QB, and won the division.

Gruden is a good coach. But holy Christ, we'd have to understand Newton would be gone. Simple as that. Gruden simply wouldn't tolerate it.

As for Del Rio, we could do better, we could do worse.
