    It's next year's first rounder.

They're also pulling the plug on Weeden, probably. I bet they want Bridgewater.

That's a pretty naive way of putting it. They certainly want him.

This has the feel of a safety in overtime on a bad snap game.

Chud doesn't need running backs on his offenses. It's a good move for his style, I guess.

Brown fans not happy... but when are they ever. I'm really starting to smell what they're stepping in.

But I guess until the Panther move to LA and win a couple of Super Bowls, we'll never really know

We should trade him Cam for both those #1s.

yes and no. Listening to NFL radio yesterday and Gil Brandt said 95% of all RBs not named Peterson could be had for a 2nd at best. The current Browns front office and coach didn't draft Richardson and Weeden. they lost out to the Redskins for RG3 due to the Skins adding a 3rd pick in along with the 3 1st that the Browns were offerring. This now gives the Browns:
    1. Two 1st rd picks
    2. Two 3rd round spicks
    3. and two 4ths I believe
They are going to package those and get either Bridgewater or a fast rising Hendley from UCLA

As much as Rivera is fucking this team with his ineptness, it would be sweet to blow smoke up the Browns ass (like Tampa did last year making Cleveland think they wanted Richardson, they didn't) and make them think we would take Bridgewater and give us a boat load of picks to flip flop

This is the part that makes you scratch your head from a Cleveland point of view. The dead money

The Colts are also getting Richardson at a greatly reduced price. While they do miss out on one year of a cost-controlled Richardson by trading for him during his sophomore season, they're not forced to repay any of Richardson's already paid $13.3 million signing bonus to the Browns, who will see the remaining unassigned (in terms of the salary cap) $10.1 million of that bonus accelerate onto their cap in 2013 ($3.5 million) and 2014 ($6.7 million). Instead, the Colts basically have Richardson signed to a guaranteed three-year deal for an average of about $2.2 million per season. If Richardson succeeds in his new digs, the Colts will get a franchise running back at less than half of his original price and at pennies of his true market value.
