    For the record, I hate, hate the idea of in-season coaching changes. Rivera would be my lone exception to the rule.

    This is the last year of Rivera's contract, right? He's gone after the Giants game if Carolina doesn't win.

    We lack any identity whatsoever. I thought the front 7 would define us, but now I don't know. We are leaderless and directionless in any event. If we are totally inept next week, I don't see how it can be a bad thing to go ahead and make the move.

    I saved them.

    You kept going on and on about what a great hire he was. Also that he was a much better coach than both Harbaugh brothers.

    it takes a lot for the local media to turn on a GM or HC, but when they do it's pretty much the kiss of death. It will be Custer's Last Stand next sunday.

    Just too many miscues with respect to game management. I still am pleased with the core of players. Lot of solid playmaking. But, too many clock/assignment issues since 2011.

    The end of the 1st half was a great drive today. Doesn't excuse the horrible game management in those last 60 seconds.

    Another odd loss. Just odd.
