Because it's not related to his teammates. It's entirely about his individual performance.

So his performance has no relation to his teammates?
What I was questioning was that no one posting on this board can speak for anything that goes on in the lockerroom or how any teammate feels about Cam`s lack of progress.
My original post about what TD said to him was merely a guess on my part.
This was not some charity event where he can get away with acting like the class clown.

Serious over-reaction to Cam per usual by just about everybody. I even heard Sapp make some shitty comment about Cam not chasing down the pick 6 (he did, just pulled up as he was clearly never gonna catch Bostic).

Lets keep in mind the posing incident was during a TO with 3 mins to go with the Pickles driving for the win during the first preseason game. I'm sure the lads were just happy to be back playing and TD only had Cams best interests in mind.

As far as the actual play goes Cam was 3-6, Jennings had great coverage on the quick Smitty slant but Cam was probably a tad high with the pass. Comes back with a great read on a 3rd down to Smitty for a 1st down. Olsen then drops what looked like a sure catch on 3rd down 2 runs later, again great coverage by Jennings. Next drive Cam hits a nice 3rd and goal to LaFell, looked like he wanted Olsen first, nice read. Cam throws a TD on 3rd and short from the 5, overcoming one of his biggest weaknesses, yeah progress. Now comes the bad, the really bad, the pick 6. Locking onto Olsen when Lafell runs a beautifull route shaking the CB and making the S bite down hard, woulda, coulda, shoulda been a huge gain/TD. No excuses, horrible play.

I thought it was a huge redemption game for Norman, Adams and Gettis, good for them.

Dont know what was up with Ginn and DA, looked totally out of sync, hopefully we can chalk it down to preseason game 1.

Edwards finally looks like a real WR now, good for him too. If Hixon gets back on the field competition looks good.

Brandon Williams, do want to see more of him as Hartsock and Brockel offer next to nothing after the catch but on the plus side they do catch it.

Baring Barners fumbles he looked like quality I thought. Shifty runner not afraid to take it up the gut (did this at Oregon too BTW). Nice catch off the turf from DA too.

Dont recall the OLine getting their names called alot either which is good news. Gary Williams, liked not hearing his name called.

    Will Poole be trade Bait?

Dline looked sturdy as hell. No big splash plays from the rookies but Star held the point and he and KK applied some hurries, loved watching Star and CJ chase down Cutler.

I even saw Fua get some penetration on Chris Williams and Long. Roh had pressure on the RT Bell, shoulda been holding on the big pass after his sack, Bell grabbed his shoulder pad. Looks like this team finally had some decent debth on the DLine. Only game 1 tho, and that Bears OLine is ass. Noticed Long isnt listed as a starter yet either so lets give Kugbila a little time folks.

I hope Dockery isnt lost in the numbers game, some nice coverage with some solid tackling too, really like him. Melvin White had a nice hit late. Don't think I heard one safety called out during the game, that's a first. A testament to the DLine and LBs'.

Gano hits a sweet 50 yarder and Clausen looked like he could be a #2.

    On to the next one.

Forgot to mention Chase Blackburn, he really stood out to me, big guy that has some real ability to cover the deep middle with his size and smarts. Keek was Keek and looks even more dangerous with those DT's in front of him. Klien shoulda had that fumble, shame about that. 4th quarter Lb's looked like pants, Beason better come back strong.

That's not accurate. Cam had an angle and was way in front of Bostic, although there were Chicago defenders who would have attempted to block him. But I don't have any criticism for Cam not trying to make a tackle in a meaningless preseason game. I'm actually glad he didn't. There would be zero benefit to him risking an injury that way.

Take another look at it and try to be a little bit objective. Cam is actually boxed out by the 2 Chicago DE and is held for a second by 96. Bostic is galloping down the sideline at the 30 while Cam is on the far hash. He aint catching him unless he turns into Usain Bolt. He does at least turn and chase a few steps before pulling up.

Gross had the angle, I was worried that old dude was gonna pull a hammy he was trying so hard.

Cam did stop hamming it up after TD had a word in his ear. Favre played around on the sideline with teammates and was lauded as a kid just playing the game, Rodgers routinely photobombs other players pics. People are seriously overreacting. 2 minutes prior he was halloring on the sidelines after Pickles first down scramble.

The Cam stuff isn't an overreaction as much as an observation that he's the same guy. He has a sun and a moon and we get both of them.

Guys like Favre and Rodgers are playful. Cam is bipolar.
