    Lakers are so screwed even with Howard being gone. Around 60 million in owed contracts to maybe 7 players.

    actually, they have about 80 million in salary next year (30 million is kobe, 20 more for pau). however, after next year, they only have nash for 1 year at about 10 million. the free agent crop for 2014 is pretty nice, but i doubt the big names go anywhere. still, they'll be back in contention in a couple years.

    He`ll be 35 before this season gets rolling and he has being showing his age for the last couple of years already.
    That window of opportunity has about 2 inches of opening left before it slams shut on another career.
