I like Jake, but I also remember him fucking up games for us. Part of that is just my personality. I tend to dwell on getting cucked while forgetting that I've also been the one who cucks. The latter has probably happened a little more, actually. I'm about 2 under par on the cuckold golf course.

 

Because you have no idea what "mediocre" means. No one besides you would describe Boller as "mediocre." When we use that word to describe a tier of players in our fantasy rankings, it applies to the ones in the middle who are neither particularly good or bad. Boller was terrible.

Take some responsibility for once in your life. Go back and look at all our arguments. They're almost always you picking a fight with me, and as I said, it's because you always think this will finally be the one where you actually win one, only that never happens and the board gets you pointlessly badgering me for no payoff unless I happen to include a particularly entertaining insult. You're responsible for the conflict between us because you repeatedly go out of your way to initiate it. Think about it. Why would someone like me ever even notice someone like you if you weren't constantly picking fights?

I didn't "challenge" y2b, I pointed out that Steve was far from the only WR on that list to play with mediocre QBs. You then decided to start an argument with me because that's all you do on this board.

So you're actually arguing that only the 16th ranked guy can be considered mediocre? Good lord. Mediocre obviously applies to a range of QBs, and yes, those in that 12 to 20 range would certainly fit. Moreover, I also noted Jake's much higher than average propensity for turnovers, which further moves him down QB rankings. In his first three seasons as the Panthers' starter, Delhomme fumbled 39 times, far and away the most in the league during that period.

If you already knew his terrible QB rating then why did you embarrass yourself by continuing to pretend that he was an average QB? He wasn't even close to average, and arguing that instead of acknowledging your mistake only makes you look bad. Since you apparently don't know much about football, the Ravens obviously had a much better record with QBs other than Boller, and a 1:1 TD:INT ratio is not anywhere close to being average. It's well below average.

Also, please notice that every single poster besides you is agreeing that Jake Delhomme was mediocre. Notice that and then kindly shut the fuck up.

 

Fantasy rankings, Jesus H Christ. You want to make the rules up as you go along. I called Boller mediocre because the dictionary defines it as low quality, ability or performance. And the one you call Gospel also defines it as not satisfactory, poor, inferior. That describes Boller pretty well I think. I couldn't give a rats ass about your fantasy club.

Comments like these are what make you so frustrating. Turning the ball over is a flaw, and it made Favre worse than he otherwise would have. Saying that it automatically made him "mediocre" is so absurd that it becomes difficult if not impossible to turn any conversation with you into anything productive. If Delhomme was a hugely successful passer who also happened to be turnover-prone then he'd obviously be better than mediocre. But he wasn't. He was a pretty average guy who would occasionally make a great play and with equal frequency make some truly dreadful ones. And as for who should be discussed, what quarterback do you think y2b was talking about? Jesus Christ.

 

So if you are using Bollers QB rating to define him as terrible then by that same token you'd agree that Tebow is in fact terrible too, and in fact not a legitimate starting QB. Since wins and loses apparently mean nothing today in defining a QB's body of work, yet its exactly what you chide Cam for.

Go back and look at my comments about Tim Tebow and note how I posted over and over again that he was a "below average starting quarterback." Then use whatever tiny brain you have to consider what I've been saying about turnovers, and how if being turnover-prone hurt Jake's overall evaluation then why being turnover-averse would help Tebow's. It's frustrating that you insist on arguing and yet can never even make one valid point. Everything you post is either idiotic or somehow repeating an issue that has already been addressed. That's what makes you completely useless. It's bad enough that the only thing you do on TBR is to pick fights with me, but the worst part is that in doing so you don't actually contribute to any discussion.
