Dan Uggla is 4 for 83 (.048) with 52 strikeouts in at-bats ending with an offspeed pitch this season.

Hmmm... I think I see a pattern here.

We'll assume Dan saw the pattern too...he hit two off-speed pitches for homers in one game.

Beachy is returning for the June 18 doubleheader with the Mets. I'm Assuming Gonz will go to a 5-man rotation after the Mets series. I'd hate to see Teheran go to the bullpen at this point. Trade? What if you then have an injury or two in the middle of a playoff chase?

Former Atlanta Braves great Chipper Jones has put his Roswell, Ga., house on the market for $3.19 million.

The 23,504-square-foot home at 5015 Heatherwood Court is on 2.5 acres in the Glenayre gated community. It has seven bedrooms, eight full bathrooms, three half bathrooms, three kitchens, two wet bars, one full bar, six-car garage and pool.

If I had 3 million to spend on a house, it'd sit on more than 2.5 acres.

I thought the Bravos were headed for their 5th in a row loss till the Giants` reliever couldn`t hit the corners anymore and walked two. Hell, he`d only walked three all year, that plus a couple of timely hits and they pull one out of their ass.
Gattis is fun to watch hitting. He looks at every pitch as if it was a double cheeseburger with bacon. Then goes after it like he hasn`t had a bite in days.

Another one yanked from the anal cavity. The only two runs scored were in the 9th by Atlanta. I thought they were headed to shutout number 10 this year.

How in the hell are the Braves still in first place? The division must really suck.

The Braves, 2-0 losers to the Brewers on Friday night, were shut out for the 10th time this season, in their 75th game. Atlanta is only the third team in major-league history to occupy first place at the 75-game mark of a season, despite being blanked 10 (or more) times to that point. The others were the 1915 Cubs and 1973 Yankees.

All 3 starting outfielders on the dl and it is addition by subtraction.
What was suppose to be a major strength of the Bravos has been a major disappointment. Too few hits and too many strikeouts and I say let them get good and healed on an extended dl stay. The callups can`t be any worse. At least there is no pressure on them.
