What part of "everyone agrees" did you not understand? No one is disputing the notion of Kugbila being a project. Hell, you're not even disputing it, you're just being your typically argumentative-dick self by insisting that "I" can't know even though "I" am just saying the exact same thing everyone else on the planet is saying. This is why you suck and why you're bad for TBR. You create entirely pointless, valueless arguments. It is utterly idiotic for us to being arguing about whether or not Kugbila was the most NFL-ready guard available to the Panthers in the fourth round because no one believes he was. Why are we even arguing about this?

If you wanted to argue that Kugbila was the correct pick because the Panthers need to be focused more on 2015/16 than 2013, and he gives the best chance of a potentially dominant guard, that would be valid. I wouldn't agree, but at least you would have a legitimate argument. This bullshit is a waste of everyone's time, though. Kugbila is a project, regardless of whether or not you want to be a bitch and quibble over that fact.

I'm not arguing whether Kugbila needs developing or not, im saying all late round picks do. You said he was "years" from contributing. I disputed that. We didnt pick him with our 3rd selection to take years to develop.

I can't remember you making one post in your entire TBR existence where I thought you added something to the discussion, made a good point someone hadn't already brought up, or intelligently disagreed. Once again, back on page 2 you agreed with what we were saying on Kugbila. Your position on that completely changed because you were arguing with Purrsecutioner and suddenly decided that you wanted to give the Panthers credit for drafting Kugbila. Again, please go back and read what you wrote because you could not ask for a better example of why you're such an annoying shit.

This is what you do. You don't disagree because you have any clue what you're talking about. You don't even disagree because you genuinely believe something different. This thread proves that. On page 2 you agreed with what I was saying. You completely changed the way you felt about Kugbila because you wanted to argue about it, first with Purrsecutioner and then with me. I can't stand you not due to your lack of knowledge, but because you intentionally argue dumb shit simply for the sake of argument. I don't know if it's boredom or you desperately need attention because otherwise everyone would completely ignore your entire existence, but it's needless. You're the guy who comes to the pool party and takes a dump in the deep end.

The DT pick is something I have been begging for since Jenkins left. The more I think about it, the more exited I am about Star. And not just one DT, but two. I wanted beef, we got beef. Our DL should be a Mofo.

You can argue we should have gone for need later but this draft, if everyone makes the roster, is less than 10% of our roster. I repeat: less than 10%. You just are not going to take care of everything with five picks, only two of which were in the top 100. And it became obvious before the draft kicked off that OL were going to be snapped up to the point where they were not going to be good value.

We made no desperation picks, no trades. Last year we took a fucking average punter and yet another small return guy late.

I'm upgrading this draft to an A, fuck it.

 

Whether or not Short works out will not only have a huge effect on this draft's grade, but probably the franchise as well. If the coaching staff can get him straightened out and maximize his talent then holy shit the defensive line will be amazing. But if he busts like so many other second round picks here, then not getting an offensive lineman in that spot is going to hurt badly.

 

Unless the guy we took in the 4th pans out, then it will equalize.

Heck I said over and over I wanted OT but it just wasn't in the cards this year and I'm okay with not forcing it. (edit: I was hoping one of the 3 top OTs would somehow fall and never imagined it would be Star sitting there.)

Oh, and I do believe that with the exception of JR, no one involved in our string of crappy 2nd round results is still with the Panthers. Unless you include Gregory with Clausen, but I put that tar more on Hurney. Ha, meant to type far instead of tar, but am sticking with tar.
