I'd like it if it weren't for the circus surrounding him.

The media has already dismissed him as a starting QB (basically, as a QB all together, even though Blaine Gabbert is still getting some rope) so I don't think it would be anything close to the mess in NY. Would there be some attention and possible discomfort for our starting QB? Yeah. But I don't give a shit. Start winning games or get the fuck out.

It would screw with Cam's head big time the first time the crowd starts a Tebow cheer. All it would take is one game like the Giants last season. Cam is too much of a mental midget to ever be able to handle that circus.

Again, I don't really give a shit about Cam's feelings. And I don't worry about imaginary problems like "locker room distraction". It's completely meaningless. The Jets didn't finish 6-10 because of Tim Tebow. Meanwhile, Denver won a playoff game with him (something the didn't do with Peyton Manning) in spite of all of the hype and sensationalism.

It's meaningless. Completely meaningless. Stop concerning yourself with meaningless shit.

So he'll join our QB throwing his team and coaches under the bus after bad games as a circus.

I've always thought that the whole "never make your starter uncomfortable with a backup" thing should be reserved for QB's who have won a Super Bowl - or at least been to the playoffs. Tampa Bay isn't just bending over for Josh Freeman, for instance. Most teams who aren't winning a Super Bowl face some degree of QB controversy.

    just say 'no'

I was sick of hearing the name Tebow by his Jr. year in college.

The whole idea of treating your QB as a fragile flower who should never be challenged is bizarre to me. Why is it that competition is good for every other position? In any case, I want Tebow as the backup here because the Panthers could win games with him if Cam got hurt.

actually, though I said no and am tired of him, this is a plausible idea. I would just hate the media/fans jumping on the tebow bandwagon every time cam had a bad game.
