Absolutely not. We need all the players we can get. I see a lot of mocks where Star falls to us, which would be ridiculously awesome.

Of course, if Star falls to us and we pass on him, I might break my TV.

I'd be for it to get Star or Milliner if the team had its 3rd round pick, but we don't.

    One spot, maybe two.

or better yet, send DeAngelo and #14 to the Jets for #9...might have a decent shot at both Star and Milliner from there

The Jets don't want an old running back with a huge salary.

Just to clear this up again- DW34 is untradeable right now, the Panthers would take a 9 million dollar cap hit.

    - Since the combine I’ve reported the New York Jets hope to come out of the draft’s first two days with a quarterback. In conversations today I am told they will consider one of the signal callers with an early choice. As it was told to me, the team does not expect to win next year so they can just as easily lose with their quarterback of the future underneath center in 2013. More specifically the Jets front

    - Building upon on news we posted yesterday, sources tell me if either of the top two tackles are available when they Oakland Raiders are called to the clock the team will considering flipping picks with the Detroit Lions. The Lions will select the remaining tackle while the Raiders will take Shariff Floyd/Florida or Star Lotulelei/Utah at five.office and new general manager John Idzik, “fear missing on one of the quarterbacks in this draft”.

I don't buy the notion of the Jets getting a QB with one of their first round picks where they are now. They could trade down from 13 and do it.
