I imagine he was thinking of Josh Cribbs. As for Austin, I honestly don't get the fascination. He's so limited in what he can do.

Austin could end up a great pick for us. Because we trade the fuk down with his as the bait. Minnesota comes to mind. Grab an extra pick and still get a good player. They need a wide out even with Jennings.

To that point he is definatley a luxury pick. He can't block, but would be interesting on jet sweeps and reverses in addition to being flanker, slot guy. I won't vomit if we take him, in fact, I think he'd be fun to watch in our O.

I'd be very un-pissed off if we took Werner. Even if you somehow secure Hardy longterm, I think it's pretty easy to have Werner, Hardy, and Johnson on the field at the same time in today's NFL. In a perfect world, I guess it would be great to have more of an edge rusher to complement what we have, but that would still be a pretty dynamic line.

I don't know. I like him, but he's very green. With out holes and lack of picks, I'd be concerned about that. Werner is a proven commodity.

If things fell where Werner was there I'd be okay with it. We have one looking to be highly paid de and one highly paid, don’t know if we can afford both going forward.

It was my understanding Werner was sliding to late first / second round area because his workouts were lackluster. If that's the case I think 14 would be too high for him.

Who cares about workouts? I care about how he actually played.
