    And because I don't think I'm making myself totally clear, I think Hixon is a fine young receiver and I'd be thrilled to add him at such a low cost if the team hadn't already signed Ginn. If Gettleman planned to sign Hixon all along then I don't know why he signed Ginn. Maybe he worried that Ginn would go elsewhere and he'd be left with neither, but I doubt that would have happened.

    It's pretty fucking depressing that the giants #3 or #4 wrs could compete for a starters spot on this team...like hixon was kinda hoping for Bardens 6'6 ass to come here.

    Could be because Rivera had a jonesing for Ginn. Sometimes you just gotta keep the kids happy.

    Ginn=returner (very limited on offense)
    Hixon= #3 wr or potential starter.

    Carolina is purging the crap wr core. Not that hard to see.

    I like how I spend a great many posts trying to teach people that Ginn has always been a "legitimate WR" and isn't bad at all in that respect, but it made absolutely no impression. Teaching must be the most god awful profession because you constantly deal with minds that lack either the ability or the openness to accept new information.

    You really don't have facts to prove he's a "legitimate" wr. You have a opinion...and it's wrong...ginn only got a chance in Miami because of how high he got drafted. He was brought in to be a returner. Your trying to make him out to be a better wr than he is.
