I hope they don't take Austin, not that he isn't badass but I don't see him holding up.

Shockey caught 37 balls for 455 yards and 4 TD's in Cam's first year. Thats a pretty good barometer for a #4 WR...but we dont even have a #3 at this point. Its been brought up before, are we a 2 TE team or a 3 WR team? We need to pick one and allocate our personnel accordingly. I'd just as soon take a true #2 TE as I would a WR...but we certainly dont need all those returner types. Ginn should suffice. Are Pilares, Armanti, Gettis, & Adams good enough receivers to make the team?

I get the need to be financially conservative but we have 9 WRs on the roster and only 3 are 6' or better. One being Gettis who couldn't do shit last year and is as good as cut in my book. (edit: I should have said he is approaching Otah status, one fucking surgery and you're out two years? fuck that).

I love Smitty but he is a very rare case, we need fewer smurfs and more big targets.

In today's pussified NFL, I don't think that matters much anymore.

fair enough...then again, Cam's 6'5" and dwarfs every receiver on the roster... i would think a guy of similar stature (6'4"+ for instance) with a large catch radius would be welcomed by Cam...say Randy Moss wanted to play here in Charlotte for a year, any reason why we should say no?
