Is this clown looking for a great offer from a team or something?

Or he got all his offers up front to show Gettleman, his first choice.

Likely the case, being that we're still talking to him. I'd be surprised if he were not a Panther by the end of the week.

Not a need, in my opinion. Some of you have forgotten that we just signed Ginn.

Maybe not as urgent a need, but we have need. I'd rather have Hixon, Ginn and a DT or OT in the 1st than ignoring that need to go WR in the 1st.

disagree...the ginn signing shows only that gettleman is in one way no different than hurney...both like to collect return men at the expense of real receivers...the real test will be when he has to decide between keeping Ginn, Adams, Artmanti, and/or Pilares...Hurney would ovviously have kept all four.

With Hixon, you've got a legit receiver (one who can consistently enough gain separation and catch the ball) with decent size and a reasonable price tag (thanks to 2 ACL's and at least one good concussion)...you banking on Gettis this year?

Signing Hixon would mean cutting a WR already on the roster. If on a cheap one year deal then fine, but I'm not seeing much advantage to be gained.

When they draft Austin it won't matter...

You also have a quarterback who's a first read-or-checkdown/scramble quarterback. If you have Peyton Manning, great. But how many times has Cam even went to his fourth receiver? And this isn't even including Olsen, who is a wide receiver everywhere but the depth chart.
