I'm hoping for a playmaker on offense...OL/WR..deep DT class so they can get that later.

There are no great WRs in this class at all, and it's much deeper at WR than DT.

I was reading somewhere that Hixon had a 66% catch rate last year.

If he could finally get over his injuries and stay healthy he'd be a nice steal.

Christ, I'll blow a nut if we draft the lines. I'd be ecstatic with a T or G with 14, and a DT later on, if the special ones are gone by 14, which I'm assuming they will be.

I mean...we gotta get tougher in the trenches, or our skill positions won't fucking matter.

I've been wanting DT since we lost Jenkins. Keep seeing Richardson slotted to us in the mocks.

I've been having trouble watching vids online lately so am not seeing these guys' highlight clips. Is he worth the pick?

He'd be ok. Good motor and decent hands. He's not a strong as I'd like and I'm not fond of long-legged DTs. The problem is that there probably won't be any DTs worth taking at #44 unless someone drops unexpectedly.

I agree on Vaccaro very well rounded but not great in any one area IMO. I don't see him worth #14. I like Eric Reid in Rd 2 if available.

Still the more I look at this I'd wonder if moving down if possible wouldn't be the way to go. I like the Flucker thing thats been floated. WR is a deep position in this draft like DT.

OL might be the way to go.

    2013 NFL Draft: First-round trades you may*see | Audibles - SI.com

    http://nfl.si.com/2013/04/01/nfl-draft-pro-day-risers-fallers/

    http://www.draftinsider.net/blog/?p=6884

"I’ve been told the Dallas Cowboys have Jonathan Cooper/G/North Carolina as one of their top first round targets and are looking at Stepfan Taylor/RB/Stanford in round three."

What are the chances DeAngelo gets traded on draft day?

There's also a good list of prospects that could sneak into the second half of round 1.

    http://www.walterfootball.com/draft2013rumorsteams.php

"We understand both the San Francisco 49ers and New Orleans Saints will look hard at defensive backs in the early rounds of the draft."

"Sources told Charlie Campbell the Saints don't put much value into the offensive tackle position, so they likely won't pursue someone like Lane Johnson at No. 15 overall."

"Mel Kiper said that Tavon Austin is in the mix for the Buccaneers, Panthers and Rams." [April 3rd]

"For [Tavon] Austin, some perceive his over-under spot in round one to be pick 15."

"The Rams showed special interest in Georgia safety Sanders Commings."

"Gerry Dulac said the Steelers really like Cordarrelle Patterson."

"Dick LeBeau told the media that he wants to bring in a young safety. The Steelers met with Kenny Vaccaro at the Combine."

"Word is the Pittsburgh Steelers drooling over Ezekial Ansah/BYU as a 3-4 OLB."

"If LSU’s Kevin Minter (6-0, 246) is available at No. 17, do not be surprised to see the Steelers take him with their No. 1 pick. That is more likely than an outside linebacker in the first round."

"Jonathan Cooper is drawing heavy interest from the Titans and Cowboys."

"The Cowboys value Vaccaro immensely but whether or not he'll fall to No. 18 is uncertain ... If Vaccaro is still available at 15 or 16, then the Cowboys might need to trade up and draft him."

"DL or OL best player available" [Cowboys]

"Joe Reedy has the Bengals picking Kenny Vaccaro in his recent 2013 NFL Mock Draft"

"Sylvester Williams is drawing heavy interest from Minnesota."

"Adam Schefter said Tavon Austin will not make it to Minnesota's pick."

Weird draft thought of the day.

So im listening to these guys on TV mention Cleve have no 2nd rounder.

If Hixon was signed and helped releave some need at WR how would you guys feel about trading up to #6 should Star or Fisher fall to pick 6.
