As I said before, I believe that Ginn can contribute as a receiver. He fits nicely into that Louis Murphy role.

btw, the safety, Mitchell, was the last left of the Raiders 2009 draft class. all have been released or traded.

Mitchell has a certain skill set we can use.

Ginn has a certain skill set we can use.

Neither are complete players or starters IMO.

Ginn can at least run the go, post and end arounds. But i really only anticipate a quality returner, thats what we need, thats what we got.

Can he be any worse at catching than the guy who was practically the worst in the league in Murphy?

Ginn is an upgrade but wasn't as effective last year. Long of 31 on kickoffs and long of 38 on punts. Not sure if he can really contribute on regular offense. He has in the past but again, def not last year.

Supposedly the reason he signed here was an opportunity to play on offense. I'm sure nothing was guaranteed, but they must have given him assurances that he would have that chance.

Having Ginn won't mean shit for our Special teams if they don't play better and create him some lanes
