I suspect that their wives might have turned the jobs down.

Both guys are single, from what I understand. Fisher is divorced and Cowher's wife died a few years ago. You'd think Miami would be a place they'd wanna go to start fucking again, but I guess Ross is that big of an ass.

Jim Irsay drunk-tweeted that the Colts are about to sign a big FA wideout.

Remaining free agents of interest. No Captain Munnerlyn or Dwan Edwards mentioned from NFL.com

    1. Sebastian Vollmer, T: It's amazing that he might get less money than Jermon Bushrod. Sign this man!

    2. Andre Smith, T: The longer this goes, the better chance he will re-sign with the Cincinnati Bengals.

    3. Jake Long, T: Assuming his physical is now over, it looks like he's choosing between the Miami Dolphins and the St. Louis Rams. Jeff Fisher and Jared Cook both went to the Rams in this scenario.

    4. Elvis Dumervil, DE: Still a good, not great, pass rusher. He can start for a lot of teams, but may return to the Denver Broncos after a contract snafu involving a rogue fax machine.

    5. Brent Grimes, CB: Coming off a torn Achilles tendon makes Grimes a difficult player to evaluate, but the talent is there.

    6. Antoine Winfield, CB: Tough as nails and versatile, Winfield is a perfect short-term addition for a contender.

    7. Ed Reed, S: The southern hospitality shown by the Houston Texans should result in a contract, unless rapper Pitbull gets in the way.

    8. Fred Davis, TE: Like Dustin Keller, he's coming off an injury-plagued year. Unlike Keller, there are big off-field concerns. The Cleveland Browns or the Washington Redskins should get him.

    9. Brandon Moore, G: He can start 16 games at a cheap price.

    Starters with questions

    10. Ahmad Bradshaw, RB: Teams may wait until Bradshaw is fully healthy this offseason to sign him.

    11. Dwight Freeney, DE: The New England Patriots could sign him in an Adam Vinatieri-in-reverse type of move.

Best of the rest: Top available free agents
Take a look at the best remaining free agents and see where they might land.
    12. Osi Umenyiora, DE: He is beginning to realize all those long-term offers from the New York Giants weren't so bad.

    13. Richard Seymour, DL: He wants big money and could wait out teams looking for an injury replacement in camp.

    14. Michael Huff, S/CB: A surprise late addition to the free agent market, Huff still has some good years left.

    15. Nnamdi Asomugha, CB: The San Francisco 49ers and the New Orleans Saints are the two most likely landing spots for Asomugha.

    16. Eric Winston, T: He probably has to wait for Vollmer and Smith to sign.

    17. James Harrison, LB: He's not getting a ton of interest, but he could go revenge mode by signing in Baltimore.

    18. The wheel of starting kickers: A few kickers have signed, but Phil Dawson, Jason Hanson and Steven Hauschka still are out there.

    Role players:

    19. Adam Jones, CB: He's most likely to return to the Cincinnati Bengals, especially if Terence Newman leaves.

    20. Israel Idonije, DE: He doesn't fit in every system, but he should make a nice third DE for some team.

    21. Beanie Wells, RB: The Pittsburgh Steelers checked out Wells' knee. There are big health concerns here.

    22. Rey Maualuga, ILB: He visited the Arizona Cardinals, but didn't get an offer he liked. The Giants or a return to the Bengals remains possible.

    23. Ryan Fitzpatrick, QB: There aren't a lot of obvious fits for Fitz. Maybe a return to the Bengals?

    24. Daryl Smith, LB: Teams don't pay linebackers over 30 that don't rush the passer.

    25. John Abraham, DE: He's battling Freeney for a potential job with the Patriots.

    26. Shane Lechler, P: Punters are people, too.

    27. Bryant McKinne, T: Like Seymour, McKinnie could be a late addition in the offseason for a team in need.

    28. Brandon Lloyd, WR: There's a solid chance he'll return to the Patriots because he won't have a huge market.

    29. Mike Jenkins, CB: It's really not hard to find a cornerback this year. It is hard to find a really good one.

    30. Sedrick Ellis, DT: I'm surprised some coach out there doesn't think he can turn Ellis' career around.

    31. Felix Jones, RB: He'll get a job, but there's no guarantee he'll have much of a role.

    32. Charles Woodson, S: If the San Francisco 49ers don't bite, we're not sure where Woodson could land.

    33. Brad Jones, LB: He's a better signing than Erik Walden, who got big bucks from the Indianapolis Colts.

    34. Brian Urlacher, LB: A return to the Chicago Bears seems inevitable despite reports of mild interest from the Minnesota Vikings and the Dallas Cowboys.

    35. Victor Butler, LB: He showed flashes of serious pass-rush potential on the Cowboys.

Best of the rest: Karlos Dansby, LB; Julian Edelman, WR; Michael Turner, RB; Kerry Rhodes, S; Darrius Heyward-Bey, WR; Kevin Kolb, QB; DeAngelo Hall, CB; Antwan Barnes, LB; Shaun Phillips, OLB; LaRod Stephens-Howling, RB; Dawan Landry, S; Ronde Barber, CB/S; Nick Barnett, LB; Kevin Walter, WR; Jason Campbell, QB; Peyton Hillis, RB; Michael Boley, LB; Bernard Scott, RB; Takeo Spikes, LB; Tracy Porter, CB; Cedric Benson, RB.

A lot of Carolina's starters would be backups on most teams...
