    Aaron Rodgers has a ring too. Not diminishing Eli's accomplishments at all, but Rodgers is the best in the game for my money.

    By leaps and bounds. It doesn't take any special expertise to watch Aaron Rodgers and see a significantly higher level of performance and precision than either Eli or Flacco are capable of. Brady, Brees, and Peyton also show flashes of that but not with the same consistency that Rodgers does. I understand why the Ravens and Giants badly overpaid their quarterbacks, both because of public perception and because having a bad quarterback is even more hurtful than having a great quarterback is helpful, but those two winning Super Bowls and getting huge contracts doesn't make them elite or even "franchise" guys.

    Bummer about Garay. This would have been a great spot for him on a Florence-type deal. It's odd to say, but I really like what the Jets have been doing. Mike Goodson can actually make an impact for them, while Colon is a nice guard and Garay is a useful DL.

    yes he was. The agent s saying the Broncos changed the previously agreed upon contract for next years bonus. The Broncos say no. Either way he WAS cut and..

    The mistake caused the Broncos to take a $4.7 million hit against the salary cap and Dumervil is now an unrestricted free agent.

    Darren Gant was ripping NYJ over the Goodson signing, but I agree with you about it being a good move. They need big plays. I'm still kinda pissed that we just let him go instead of trying to get some kind of return.
