    Actually its different. Most mocks for the last 2 years have us taking a DT. I'm not talking about the mocks, but rather what the Panthers themselves seem interested in.

    The chiefs signed Donnie Avery and are probably going to ship Baldwin out. Guy's an asshole but this team also brought on Shockey Key and kept Smitty.

    Landry made $3.5 mil last season and he only signed for that much because he was coming off of an injury. After a strong season for the Jets he's reportedly looking for $6 million per, and pretty much everyone expects him to get at least $4 million annually. Meanwhile the numbers you're quoting on Delmas were his rookie deal. He's expected to get $5-6 million per year.

    I don't get why they would bring in a vet cornerback when they have young CB's that did ok once the pass rush came on. Also it must be nice to have $ to sign people. I hope hurneys wife gets brutally gang banged in front of him.

    He doesn't suck, he's just been injured. Bringing him in at low cost on a one year deal makes sense because he either contributes or he doesn't, the team won't be depending on him to be something he's not.
