Did you watch any of the games? We scored and took the lead in the fourth quarter against Atlanta (down there), Dallas, and Chicago. We also scored in the fourth to extend the lead against Tampa.

Might want to review the year, how can you forget the ATL and CHI games. Also Dallas, plus we got jipped by the refs 3 times in a row at the end. And like already mentioned the complete defensive meltdown against TB.

Based on what? Are we equating sacks with TDs? These are all great players that you'd be proud to have in your organisation, pro bowlers and all pros. But you'd seriously trade 60 TD's for 30 sacks?

Cam has more rushing TD's alone than AJ and Julio. Patrick took a year to develop into a quality CR. We got more production out of Dwan Edwards than the Bills and Lions got out of Dareus and Fairley last year . JJ's first year was similar to theirs, he absolutely exploded last year. Its also interesting that Aldon disappeared down the stretch when Justin Smith got injured.

If we were to do it over again, JJ would be in the picture for #1, but id still pick Cam. And keep in mind JJ wasnt even a top 10 pick, he was never considered to go #1 by anyone and anytime. It was all PP, Fairley, Dareus and AJ. And not having a second round pick meant we couldnt pull and AJ/Julio/Dalton/Kap combo.

Breaking all those records, being voted OROY and ROY should count for something. Did we turn it around around like the Colts and Luck did, NO, but this team had deeper issues than QB. Not every 2-14 team rebounds on a dime just because they draft a QB #1.

As far as which player has the better career, well thats an entirely different conversation. Every team is unique, and each player is in his own unique set of circumstances. Maybe if Cam was a 49'er they'd have 2 SB rings instead of none.

I think ive seen a few people suggest Cooper could go before Warmack.

I think that's more based on the combine than the tape. Cooper looked real good at the combine whereas Wamack and Flucker didnt look great in shorts and T's.

Cooper is still a talent, dont get me wrong, we could do worse.

Also, OT, but people are suggesting Buffalo pass on QB and address it later by adding Habib and reuniting him with his Syracuse HC. But weve seen many HC's in the past pass on their college QB's. They really need to do something about Fitzpatrick. They made a splash on D recently, they need a friggen QB and become relevant again. They've been sleeping far too long in the AFC, they need to make a bold move.

And if Tampa get Star right before us, i'll go batshit crazy. They really need CR help more tho.

It would be the "fun" pick IMO. But would he be on the field for all 3 downs? Can we afford to do that at 14? We kinda have enough small returney type guys already. I think Allen would be much better prospect for us IMO.

Incidently, I hear Allen is working out a Proehls camp so let the conspirancies begin. We'll definately have a great extended look at him. Not to mention Riveras a Cal guy too.

Are we playing "I know you are but what am I?' You're the guy who ignored everything, had no facts, and no response.

My bad on Dallas and Atlanta, but you completely screwed up on Chicago as well. The Panthers had a 12 point lead entering the fourth quarter in that game.

They have been better players thus far than Cam Newton has been. QBs will always put up bigger stats than anyone else, but what matters is how a player compares to the others at their position. Compared to other NFL QBs, Cam Newton has been mediocre at best. You could actually argue that he's been below average if you factor in his struggles in clutch moments (which is why people also downgrade Romo). Seriously, it's so annoying to have to explain everything to you because your brain can't reach a reasonable conclusion without help.

Thank you for more perfectly summing up your complete lack of football knowledge and your overall intellectual struggles better than I could ever possibly articulate.

What has Collin proved about newton? He took a 2-14 team at the bottom offensively and turned them around. His yards and Tds speak for themselves (there's your stats dipshit). He sucks on 3rd down? Ok he still has had the lead going in to the 4th and the defense blew it. Your hatred for newton probably stems from the fact that you were so wrong about him. If you think kapernick, locker, ponder or even dalton are better you are on crack. Seriously you say some really nicely worded but completely retarded shit.

That he's the worst red zone passer in the league, that he's one of the worst on 3rd & 6+, that he consistently comes up small in the fourth quarter, that he's an inaccurate passer in general, that he has terrible footwork, that he's a prima donna, that his overall QB rating is just mediocre, and that he's not a winner.
