My whole point was that it was the running game that made that leap, not the passing game.

They had 18 running TD's in 2000. They had the same amount of passing TD's in 2000 as they did in 1999, 18.

If thats the way you feel about it, thats the way you feel about it.

Is that the way you feel about it?

Roll with what you have in 2013 as well as clean out from under Hurney's cap hell and hire a new coach and his own OC in 2014

Well lets all pack it in and take our balls home because Chud left us.

How many winning seasons did we have here in Carolina under Chud?

I get being frustrated with hiring within. Its not very exciting when you're trying to sell someone who has already been here for 2 years.

I mean, we could have hired additional talent and kept him. We didnt even bring in anyone for special teams either. I get that. Im just trying to make the point that Shula did have some success as an OC and I believe he is wiser now and we have more talent to work with than he had before.

But the passing offense got a lot better in 2001, so unless your argument is that Mike Shula wasn't worse than Les Steckel ('00 OC) then I'm not sure what point you think you're making.

And what was their record in 2001. 9-7.

Yeah, they finally broke 3000 yards passing under Brad Johnson. How many passing TD's did they have? 13 (and dunn and alstott were responsible for 4 of those). How many rushing TD's? 17

That's exactly what I wanted them to do. I wanted them to fire Rivera, start fresh, and begin de-Hurneying the cap. Instead 2013 is a completely wasted season.

Yeah man. Nothing like being 30th in passing and 27th in points scored.

    SUCCESS!!!

I know what you mean. I hate going 10-6 and 11-5 and actually playing real football in Jan.

I'd much rather suck Chuds cock for christmas and go 6-10 and 7-9.

Maybe next year we wont actually go 2-8 before we starting winning back to back games.

How about we actually play and lose some games before we all jump off the cliff like bunch of lemmings.
