Lavonte David and Bobby Wagner both clearly make bigger impacts as rookies. Kuechly got a shitload of tackle assists which incorrectly got him labeled as the league's top tackler. Brockers and Fletcher Cox also played well, for whatever it's worth.

Lavonte had 9 more solo tackles but keek had 34 more assists. Thats 3 games worth of tackles. Plus LK had 4 more turnovers.

ALL 3 LB had great seasons but i think LK and BW played better down the stretch when voting can be more influenced.

Figured Wagner would win simply because Seattle are still going. But he is on a much much better defense. LK is very deserving IMO.

David led the NFC in tackles for loss (lolme for saying he couldn't play downhill). Assists are a bullshit stat. Not sure where you're getting the turnovers thing, as Luke had one more interception but neither player forced any fumbles. Don't get me wrong, I'm stoked to have Kuechly in the middle of this defense for years to come, but there's no question he didn't deserve DROY over the other candidates.

LK had 3 fumble recoveries, LD and BW had none.

I wouldnt call them bullshit, its similar to half sacks. Sometimes unfortunately it takes more than 1 guy to bring a guy down.

Again, Keek finished much stronger IMO (also didnt move to MLB till game 5).

I wouldnt say "no question", its your opinion, that's fine, roll with it.

    Fumble recoveries are pure luck.

Not at all. A half sack means you and someone else both reached the quarterback before he could attempt a pass. Getting an assist means you jumped on someone who was already going down.

Call it what you like. But who gets the ball if the O falls on it first.

Gotta be in it to win it.

He's around the ball alot, when you hustle good thinks happen.

RGIII only losing 2 of his 12 fumbles, now that's lucky.
