Anyone think taking a guard at 14 is a good idea? This kid is a mauler...

I wouldn't be opposed to it for a truly elite guard, but Warmack isn't quite that. He still might end up being the best of bad choices given how weak the draft is.

I want quality beef on whatever side of the ball we can get it. CB is a distant third choice for me but would take that over reaching.

Milliner has been my second choice after Lotulelei, but obviously neither will make it even close to the Panthers' selection. I'd be ok with taking a chance on Hankins realizing his potential (Kris Jenkins had some of the same red flags), otherwise take the best available OL.

Wouldn't be terribly opposed, as much as I was taking a G in the top ten.

Our lines are in desperate need, but I worry about an elite G playing himself out of town in his brief original contract, because I can't see us "retaining" them with a massive contract - when someone else will surely make that mistake.

It's a G. I'd go DT, OT or DE before I'd go G that high, but if he's the amazing prospect as some claim, sure- but I'd be worried about his second contract paving a road out of town if he plays that well.

Huge, but can't they find him a jersey that fits?

    Hell that's a 40 year old's gut.

Not worried about five years from now, as far as contracts go.

Unless the top DT, CB or OT fall, I would be excited to get him. Hangartner is clearly not the answer at RG. I see that opinions vary though on who is better between he and Cooper. I haven't watched enough of either to have my own opinion on that. Having an elite guard that can help the run game and give Cam a pocket to step up into can only help the offense though.

id consider guard in the first is if I was convinced we were gonna run it enough (with running backs) to make it worth it; otherwise, make it an OT and slide Bell inside. Can't recall where I read it, but apparently the secondary and the OLine are the top priorities...
