RGIII has a legit power running game, too. Cam was our leading rusher.

    yeah. I'm there too.

It'll be tough on him. Only got one good year as a pro before the injury thing got him (3x), and AP and TD both kinda reset the expectation on what a knee injury might mean. With camp 7 months away and this new type of QB that requires the read of every play to go through them, it's a lot of pressure.

edit - I'm also not clicking whatever link this board added for Black Christ

I don't want a player who I think might break for a while, once a season like Vick does. And like RG3 has already done.

Cam is a work in progress, and let's not lose sight that he had one season of major college ball as a starter, in the kind of system that he ran.

All things considered, he had a better rookie season statistically than RG3 did, with less a team and quality leadership around him....and he stays upright, and we can count on him being there.

That matters to me, and I've watched RG3. Have you? He's pretty outstanding, and more polished than Newton is, probably already a better leader, but in a few years I think Newton will prove to be the better player to have on the roster.

I didn't say better QB. But better player.

He's not getting hurt on designed runs, though. It looks like he's just fragile as fuck.

If you only look at volume stats and not rate stats, then yeah.

The ghost of Jeff Lewis wasted no time in getting to Mike Shannahan.
