The funiest aspect of Denver's season is that Peyton actually used McCoy's offense for the first half of their opening game, before basically saying "fuck this shit" and doing his own thing again.

Peyton Manning is the Broncos' offensive coordinator. McCoy is a glorifed quality control coach. It's repugnant that he's being fawned over by these teams.

My bet is that Rivera's status will be announced at the same time as the new GM so as to make it appear that the new GM was in on the decision.

The Distrurber thinks that if the Panthers do hire a young GM it shows something like he doesn't have the clout to fire the coach being so young. I say bullshit, hire the GM and make a recommendation then step away and let him do the job you hired him to do

I think it's evident Rivera stays, but on a one year prove it agreement.

Wait until Saturday now? Jesus. As a fan, I'm frustrated, but I know JR is busy doing what he feels is best. Hopefully it's a measured, well thought out plan that will have some fruit next season. :p If only 31 other teams weren't doing the exact same thing, most with better financial outlooks than ours.

You would think the fact the meeting between jr and Rivera is a week after the season Rivera is safe OR it will be a firing and announcement of the next gm and or coach. I don't have a hard time with Richardson keeping his business quiet so long as he gets who he wants. Folks crying for Rivera need to grow up. Worst case Rivera leaves with 2.5 million and a bruised ego. Coaches are fired every year and know their on a short leash

Person suggests Rivera could stay with staff changes.

Where did you see that? And I wonder what staff they would want him to can, I would assume Chud, but I don't know how much sense that makes either.
