Lol, if I was the arguing type I'd say you'll have to do a little better than that.

Have you ever heard even a hint that Rivera has ever interfered with offensive play-calling at all? No. This is all about you deciding Chudzinski was doing a bad job and looking for an excuse to avoid giving him credit now.

I'll give him credit. Good job Chud, recognizing that either A) your foo foo offense needed to be ditched, B) the players could not properly execute your designs, or C) combination of A+B.

Seriously, I think some of his play designs are brilliant. But I would rather get a yard or two and a fresh set of downs than throw deep inc and end up with 3rd. I'm conservative that way.

And btw, why would Rivera ever publicly acknowledge that he rode herd over his OC? Throwing him under the bus serves no good purpose. So it's all speculation anyway. I'm sticking with mine.

Stuff like that always leaks out, as it did with Fox. There's simply no way that Rivera is micro-managing Chudzinski, you just want to pretend that because it suits your narrative. And yet again, the offensive yards per play is exactly the same now as it was when you guys were complaining so much about the read-option. Chud has varied his play-calling, but I've stated my belief that it had a lot more to do with Stewart being out. Note that I am not suggesting you can't or shouldn't criticize him at all. I even got on him last season about not running enough or not even trying to put Cam under center. But he's always had that bad with the good, he didn't suddenly start sucking. He's the same coordinator he has been all along.

If Chud altered his play calling because Stewart got hurt, somebody PLEASE get Stewart the hell out of here.

Is it at all possible that while our oypp is the same but that the way we got there is different? I would guess we got garbage time stats thrown in.

I'd be interested to know what the ypp was on those "convene for a cup of coffee in the backfield" read option plays. But it doesn't matter that much, I'm not looking it up. Done with this until the next time Chud pisses me off.

Probably about the same, as they're still not having much success running the ball aside from Cam. With DeAngelo you get about half and half between 7-8 yard gains and 0-1 yards.

he mentioned he was going to change a number of things overall when Hurney was fired, and soon after Stewart got the start. I'm sure that will be taken whichever way, but that seems like a change.

And a defensive background never stopped Fox from 'interfering'. In the end it's the head coach's team, suggesting a guy like Rivera doesn't know our offense or isn't capable of saying "more downhill runs"? I don't agree with that.

It's funny how you're itching for a fight today, even though those always end so badly for you. Rivera isn't Fox, and as noted, we heard plenty about Fox's meddling. None of us have heard anything about Rivera doing anything like that, and I really doubt many people believe he would. You don't either, you're just looking to start a new conflict.
