Surprised no one started a thread on this.

I was kind of thinking Tags would rubber stamp Goddells rulings but Tags instead kind of went down the middle of the road. I would assume this was to appease both sides. He said the players did something wrong but it was more the teams fault which I kind of find as bullshit. Mike and Mike had a good analogy in that the players were the kids and the coaches were the parents who didn't supervise it better. S. Peyton threw G. Williams completely under the bus. I think had Goodell merely suspended them 4 games this would have all been settled a lot earlier. Now Vilma has a green light to sue the NFL for defamation of character. I doubt Goodell survives this.

It's not as big of a deal against Goodell as the media is making it. Tags essentially said he was correct, but the Saints had contaminated the evidence, which made it difficult to uphold the suspensions.

Goodell is damaged goods if you ask me. I don't think he's good for the game

    However....

Sean Payton is an arrogant ********** who thought he could do whatever the hell he wants and get away with it so I don't mind him sitting out and losing his salary for a year.

Drew Brees is like an junkie that thinks he doesn't have a problem but needs an intervention. Saints ran a bounty program. The only people that don't believe it are Saints fans and Drew Brees.

I hope we wipe the floor with them in the division for the next several years!

Who was the db that went in and hit Smith after he scored a TD? That play, and the Fujita going at someone's knees, tell me there was absolutely a pay to injure bounty program going on down there. They didn't get enough punishment IMO.
