    Really? The only problem I ever remember was the one y2buddy is talking about in '03, which honestly I had forgotten about. Mags was one of the lucky few who didn't need to re-do his ID.

    I also remember a week or two of intermittent loading due to bad databases, sure was hard to hate on David Carr then.

    The downtime we experienced a few weeks ago was due to a massive attack on our servers. Once we had that handled we decided it was a good time to upgrade servers and running software which took a few days of transferring and propagating

    The most recent shenanigans was a forum defacing by a hacker forum. Apparently they do this sort of a thing for fun to Vbulletin forums and the like. It was a modified .PHP file and nothing else was compromised.

    We are sorry for the issues we've been having but as Shaggy said it is somewhat beyond our control and does happen quite a bit. Rest assured that TBR is in capable hands and we deal with issues quickly that could otherwise cripple less experienced webmasters.

    Those were separate issues. The ali attack was one, and the second was a major database corruption that forced many of us to use different logins to simply get back online.
