He does alot well but not worthy of the contract. Although this deal makes what the Nationals paid Werth look pedistrian.

The Braves needed a RH bat, base-stealer and CF. The Nats and Phillies wanted him too.

Yep. He was the Phillies top choice from what I read. Nationals just traded with the Twins to get their CF so I guess the Phillies will get either Pagan or Victorino. The Phillies have a lot of money tied up so I kind of figured they wouldn't get Upton. Glad to see the Braves spending the money. And wisely Upton is good and young

Hopefully. The Braves - like most teams have a self-imposed salary cap. They can only stand so many Lowes and Ugglas.

    Trading Hanson for another reliever?
    Why?

I`m glad to see that sloth delivery fucker gone. JJ had some good times, but was to fragile.

Just a thought, but maybe Wren has noticed that Fredi uses his bullpen alot.
So having another bullet in the bullpen gun is not a bad thing, but I think the main thing is they just wanted Hanson gone.

Which is why they're idiots. Those fossils probably don't even know what BABIP is.
