Tackling in general sucks but it is even worse on special teams. Everyone doesn't wrap up expecting someone else to join in. They need to knock the piss out of someone and if someone joins in great

Good point. Going for the kill shot is more dangerous on special teams than in base defense because you're so scattered.

I still don't get why you fire the ST's coach and not the Offensive Line Coach or the Secondary Coach

    Sometimes here, sometimes there

start with the easiest to replace on short notice...more to come soon, I'd imagine....Rivera has to make it look like he's actually doing something

Sounds like another scapegoat to me. But honestly its like the Hurney firing.

He never should have been hired in the first place. Somebody find the thread when we found out he was hired and read that mess. He was a disaster in Minn too.

We should fire the GM for not picking up Holliday. How stupid can you be.
Someone please tell me he was a FA and didnt have to clear waivers.

Seems like Rivera is blaming everyone but himself to me.

As far as the Oline and Secondary go, they really do appear to have the least amount of talent as units.

Just look at whats starting on the Oline. A 10 year vet at tackle, A DII rookie that plays like it half the time, Piggy at Center, vet min, Byers UDFA G, min contract, Bell UDFA T minimun contract. We got what we paid for Sunday.

Cornerback is pretty similar. It was weird as hell watching Fox hugging the crap outta Munn and Godfrey.

Apparently our goal was to get even worse on special teams.
