This exchange clearly turned when I posted TBW's old quote about Luck not equaling Cam. I regret not including the context where I was bringing that up to show that it's not good to be at either extreme whereas he understandably thought I was just busting his balls.

 

I wasn't a fan of Cam when he was drafted, I'm not a fan now

I think they should trade him for whatever they can get

Actually I get it, and I deserve a ration of shit for being at the top of the Cam-wagon last season. This year has been difficult, to have expectations that the position is solved for the foreseeable future and then to be proven wrong. And for the record, my stance with regard to the OP is that if we can improve the QB position in the offseason, then I am all for that. The consensus seems to be that we cannot, so I do understand that we are "stuck" with Cam for at least next season. Next year won't be as bad because I will go into it expecting the team to suck out loud. I certainly didn't do that this year.

 

We're not stuck with anybody... We can trade him on draft day. Just put it out there highest bidder gets him, no reserve and move on
