    My hope is that the pieces in place fit what he wants to do and therefore he'd choose Carolina over teams offering more. Then again, Jerry probably won't even interview him.

    He will cost more than Harbaugh... plus whatever he will owe Rivera. Even if he was willing to pay it, I don't think he has it.

    yep, sucks. Necessary but shitty. All told 15 years and 3 coaches wasn't too bad a run.
