we've been bitching about this forever. hurney thought he was a genius after delhomme, davis, and al wallace worked out. after that he kept shitting the bed. we've been bitching about it since adam meadows, shelton.... cutting guys who were better other places than what we had... i'd rather us just get out from under this past era as fast as possible and make a new start. not sure how much of the personel was fox's doing but he and hurney certainly split at some pt and fox had people he didn't even want on the team.

Again, he has no point. No one ever disputed the existence of June 1st cuts, but this thread isn't about that. As I have posted again and again and again and again and again and again, this thread is designed to show the total cost from cutting a player versus keeping them. June 1st cuts are completely irrelevant to that goal since they don't change the total cap cost at all.

You have no point either. If I had done what magnus did and shit up someone else's worthwhile thread, you'd be screaming about how horrible that was. You're just a pussy who jumps in and runs your mouth when you feel like you have an opportunity because you don't actually have the ability to make a point, argue anything, or provide even the slightest bit of value to justify your existence.

The "total" cap hits for some players on this team are ridiculous, but there isn't anything that can be done about it. Dwelling on that is asinine. It's no surprise you'd be the one to start this thread and then whine like a third grader at attempts to turn it to a positive discussion on ways to mitigate the situation.

 

It's a thread that deals with only certain types of cuts, because people are by your words confused by it. You're saving people from having to think about things that will happen but you think they can't understand.

Cap space is a net issue. People want to know, consistently and constantly, how much cap space is available, or how much a player cut just saved/cost. They don't sit there and add up every player's cap hit individually.

Those cap hits being ridiculous is precisely why this thread documents them. It's helpful to know how much dead cap would be created by releasing a player versus how much they will cost to keep on the team. That allows you to look at Jon Beason's huge cap charge in 2013 and yet feel like the team should probably keep him given that the dead money created by releasing him at that point would be even larger.

You, like certain others, make no attempt to contribute to any discussion of football. Instead you and your ilk try to feel better about being so completely useless by talking shit about people like me who aren't. By all means, show me anything you have ever posted that anyone else would find worthwhile.

Sure, I've crapped up threads before and I get bitched at when it happens, including by you. But when you intentionally shit up my thread, you expect to get away with it. There was a time when you used to post interesting and informative things on TBR, but you haven't been that guy in a while.

Criticizing the thread for not including June 1st information was meant to start conflict, and continuing to post for so many pages after having your issue addressed and being told to take your issues elsewhere proves intent beyond the shadow of any doubt. This is precisely what you had in mind all along. Again, you have never once taken responsibility for your own behavior in all your posts here, at the Lair, or at Charlotte.com.
