    I don't really think it's that odd.




    FWIW, I think we could all more or less agree that Wade Phillips as a head coaching prospect would be silly. And yet he'd turn this defense into something, and his career winning percentage is better than John Fox's. And we're talking about Eric Mangini.

    Years late and hundreds of millions short, but it's about fucking time. Now, JR, make a good decision this time.

    And funny, I hear that some people are saying that that Cam shit yesterday was the reason for this, but it kept that off the front page (or any page) of the Observer. Not the real media though.

    Between Spygate, McDaniels disassembling a franchise, and the Pioli wiretapping, I think everyone from that Belichick tree is a fucking lunatic. That's my argument against Mangini. I don't think he's a terrible coach, per se, but I don't want anything to do with him.

    John Fox and Jack Del Rio have three winning seasons out of nine, so Mangini's percentage is better than theirs with a lot less talent. And again, please get your emotions under control. Every time you get antsy about me making you look stupid, you start attacking me and only succeed in making yourself look that much more stupid. You need to argue with people actually on your level, which is why I suggested that you move to the Huddle.
