    Rivera has been as much of a letdown as a head coach as Cam Newton has been as a quarterback.

    In many respects, Rivera has been trying to turn a hoe into a lady. But since he's clearly not the next Bill Belichick or even John Fox, I have no problem looking ahead to possible replacements.

    I made the point in another thread, but no good coach would ever want to deal with this mess. The only guy you're ever going to get is someone untested and hungry, so what are the odds that you actually improve by making a change?
