Not trying to defend Hurney. But we were a fucking knee down from 2-2 and beating the almighty Falcons in their house.

The blatant disreguard to address both CR and DT is incredulous.

I wanted Fisher as a HC. What does he do in rebuilding the Rams, drafts Brockers and Jenkins.

I like LK and Touli, they look like decent talents and overall this draft could see alot of players stick around alot of years. But I wonder if Marty has a fucking clue how to build a team.

Coulda had Brockers and Worthy. Gilmore and Worthy. Cox and Worthy.

Cam and Lafell, thats all we have to show for the previous 2 drafts. Thats just not good enough.

The contracts that Hurney has handed out are much more indefensible than the drafts. Every team has bad drafts, and the Panthers aren't the worst drafting team in the NFL. They are however the worst or very close to the worst when it comes to the contracts they've signed. They've paid over market, with signing bonuses that strangle their flexibility for years, for too many years, for players that "led" them to a 2-14 season. They haven't gotten any discount for guys that have serious medical issues. First and foremost, THAT is why Hurney should be fired.

If CJ played like he did against ATL for all 16 games he'd be worth that contract.

The trick is getting those guys to sign for 30 mill, not 70 mill

And Benson just signed on with GB

Anyone hear Thelt call in to 630 this morning, comparing Cam to other scrambling QBs such as Culpepper and Warren Moon?

Culpepper could scramble a good bit when he first came into the league, and I was sorta surprised the hosts forgot that. 470, 416, 609, 422, 416 rushing yards in 2000-4. As he got fatter that evaporated quickly. Moon however was a pocket passer if their ever was one.

Actually it was when Chris Gamble exploded Culpepper's knee.
