Not like they have any better options. I do hope they replace Norman, though.

Yeah, they do. I want to see Martin there, but pretty much anyone would be an upgrade. Nakamura kind of sucks but at least he's in the right position consistently. Norman killed the defense against Atlanta because he was repeatedly out of position.

Martin must be really bad during practice or something. Or maybe Nakamura is just Rivera's Karl Hankton.

Pretty much anyone would be better than Norman at this point, but I would like to see Martin because corner plays more to his meager strengths.

I dont see us in no SB this year. Id rather see him grow over the year than watch Martins no tackling ass, at least Normans a willing tackler.

He also sucks, and having him continue to display bad habits is going to make him worse in the future, not better. Young players need to be coached and learn on the sidelines. If they do a bunch of dumb shit on the field then they'll just keep doing dumb shit.

I'm not against some change but I don't think that would be for the better, necessarily. Martin v/s Nakamura, you're deciding whether you want a small guy the WR can just outjump, or whether you want a guy who can jump with a receiver but who'll miss tackles and not be in position for that same jump ball. If they want to sub/rotate, fair enough. I don't know that would be anything near standard, but having shitty DB play is becoming more standard than I'd like, so try anything.

Captain has been pretty good in the slot for a guy who had previously struggled harder there than outside, but I don't think that's a better option. Norman had a very rocky Giants game, obviously, and before then it wouldn't have been that out of bounds to take a physical corner, give him help over top against a team's only good receiver. He played somewhat solid this past week.
