Sure, but we didn't even try. A few delays, draws with real running backs...we ran heavy play action with very little actual running. We ran I think a small handful of screen passes...we never pressed them up the gut or tried to counter their speedy backers...I mean, there are fundamental things every team does to counter this, at the very least, to keep their ears pinned a little more forward...

We had the fucking most bizarre offensive gameplan I've seen. We start with no huddle, go away from no huddle, we ran heavy option with the same read, then playaction with no runs...I mean, WTF! (the irony is our TD came from a beautiful PA fake where their entire D bit off a chunk)

I think Chud banged a bad Tampa whore and/or did some bad coke or something. He was off his goddamn rocker with that fuckass plan.

They ran a very base offense, and our guys bit EVERY motherfucking fake they ran. Luke and the LBs were getting their asses whipped, we were unprepared and played panicked, and we were over-pursuing every play. We couldn't tackle for shit, and Godfrey was a fucking piece of shit as usual for the half, and then we settled down and held them to 3. Their offense is shit. We just walked in thinking we owned the place and weren't ready for a team that didn't hand us the win before the game started like last year.

I was also curious...being that the pocket was being caved in, why didn't we boot Newton more? Get him mobile more?

If some shit don't change I only see about 3 wins from this group...

The schedule is fucking brutal and we'll be out of contention before Halloween. If it even takes that long. :crap:

Somebody needs to drug test Kalil; he had to be smoking crack when he took out that ad in the paper.

I thought Beason and D. Edwards looked good as well. Hardy had a lot of tackles as well, not much pressure though. I like Adams as well, would like to see him used more on KR and occasionally on O.

Overall the D looked good in the 2nd half.

The biggest problem for me in the 1st half was play calling and Cam for whatever reason looked very hesitant with the option crap.

Shut the fuck up. You shouldn't be posting in here because you can't be taken seriously after your nonsense about evolution being fake and the earth only being 6,000 years old. Go find some Football for Fundamentalist Idiots forum to post in.

    OMFG, its week 1.....

Tampas D played hard ran to the ball and made tackles. It was hot as fuck and our guys; coaches and players alike, looked like they showed up expecting Tampa to roll over. Shit happens.

Hopefully, its a wakeup call and they get their shit together.

Pussy was kinda right. Not much to their offense we just didnt execute.

I laughed like hell at this.

Also, since we're here, why did Jesus only allow the Panthers to run for 10 yards?

I mean, I prayed for the Panthers to do something - hell, anything - to cover the 2.5.

He was too busy allowing Sanchez to play well enough to dick down his boy Teblow.

I don't think Beason played all that well. He seemed really late getting back in his drops. I think not playing all preseason took its toll.
