I think it's more carryover from last year's game management issues/clueless vibe/being overly informative to the media. It's too early to write him off, but he might just one of those guys who do better as a coordinator than HC.

    Didn't Rivera a 2 year contract?

    Never mind 4 year
Morrison said Rivera received a four-year deal with no option year. The deal is worth $11.2 million over the length of the contract, a source close to the situation told ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen. Fox's last deal paid him more than $6 million this season.

Cute play calling. Fail big time.

OL, yep fail. Silatolu, rookie from a small school in his first NFL game, not a surprise that he struggled. I'll add I don't recall one screen. Which can slow down a rush. Chud should know what kind of OL we have and compensate. Somehow.

ST, they saw a weakness in our punt formation, I don't see that as being on the punter. Who btw, dropped one nicely inside their 20 once too. We were pretty strong on return coverage, I thought.

Yeah I don't see the why the Rivera hate either. Is it because he ain't Harbaugh?

They overloaded us and our clueless ST coach had no counter to it.

    Seifert?????

I'd put Rivera on a par with Capers, inferior to Fox years 1 - 5, superior to Fox years 6 - 9 (IMO 2008 was a fluke and Fox benefited from Jake playing above his skill level; the Arizona playoff game was more indicative of Fox's overall emerging suckage). Rivera is a work in progress, too. Sorta like Cam. Might get better, might end up really shitting the bed. :crap:

Tolbert had a screen, and I think we tried unsuccessfully two other times.

It was a horribly coached game though...no doubt.
