I can't believe Armanti made the team, they had no problem admitting a mistake w Otah, why in the hell is he still here? Green made way more of his opportunities. And would have had 2 TD's if Clausen had the arm

Whatevs. Good for Armanti. Part of it probably is that the front office isn't ready to give up on a mistake but honestly none of the other WR's truly out played him. I guess you could make a point for Green. Armani can also be backup PR. And by PR I mean someone who catches a punt and then falls down

Given that Adams isn't rock solid at this point, don't mind having a contingency.

Otah was a lot more expensive than Armanti (guessing), could be one factor.

I am actually not horrified at our DL rotation. LB's too, assuming no injuries.

Hate that Jason Williams missed out.

Armanti is likely the odd man out if/when Gettis is ready. Enjoy it for a couple more months, App fans.

And it's really, really retarded to keep seven linebackers and only four CB's. That would have perfect sense around 1980.

9 DBs isn't unheard of, and for whatever reason they have kept 5 safeties. In and amongst the weird cuts and the lateness of the moves, I don't think I noticed Campbell made it. It made sense before all this started, to keep one vet backup and keep Campbell, but then I barely saw Campbell at all in preseason. Same for Nelson Rosario, who ended up on the PS and looked on paper as an ideal guy to develop, but fuck all if I saw that guy play this year.

Surprised Byars stayed, too. We have three guys ahead of him at C, and he wasn't that good a guard either from what I saw. Top 7 on the line wasn't surprising but I didn't feel like Byars or Garry Williams were better than anything else. Upside is that it's possible neither dress.
