agreed. I know it's probably too soon to make judgement calls on coaching but I am suspecting that da jets staff is not going to put tebow in the catered to position that Fox & Co. did. Say what you will about Fox but he seemed to get the best out of tebow and unfortunately tim may not ever be the winner he was in Denver again . .. unless he is used in a similarly unconventional fashion.
Crissy Collinsworth said something about how "in the regular season they will not have tebow dropping back at all". I know Collinsworth is not the most reputable source but i can't imagine that tebow would be used for the same plays that would cater to the strengths of Sanchez. NY will probably have to have an entirely different playbook for a tebow led team . .. or he will look like he did the other night. He can not just be plugged in if sanchez gets hurt and expect to succeed with the same scheme.

Tebow would be a really good backup to Michael Vick.

Hopefully he dials down the walk-on-water act. I like the football player. I think he's a dynamic talent who still has upside.

Technically correct, if only because they will play him out of the shotgun when he is in there. I don't particularly agree about Denver using him well, as I noted that Tebow had a 59% completion percentage and qb rating over 90 when throwing between the numbers, but was terrible when throwing to the sidelines and yet Denver kept using sideline routes. But yeah, putting him in a conventional offense is wasting everyone's time. Tebow could excel in an offense like the one that Tennessee had with Vince Young.

I said I have the ability to make someone angry. That's not hypocrisy, and it doesn't make anybody else's actions "right". His actions aren't right, but not all of yours are, either.

oh, no, he definitely is. He could fucking stop that, of course.

For me, it's one of those things where going to another position may or may not work, but he'd do it if asked. If he did, he'd be a starter, he'd play all the time, and he'd be a star/in the spotlight (regardless of ego, that would help his cause(s)).

The other option is, someone enjoys his passing enough (which is a stretch) or his ability to draw a crowd, and builds a completely different offense around him. That would be ideal, but that's him on stop #3 in four years and his quarterbacking (regardless of what anyone thinks of its value) isn't going to get massively better because of constantly being tweaked and overcoached (system is not a concern, he's had and continues to have consistency in scheme).

He really is very early in all this to be judged as able to do this or not able to do that. But so far, if you took his name and history out of it and used game tape only, I don't know that anyone will be handing him a franchise cookie cutter made for him.
