Whatever, so many of those guys make so much it's obscene. Kind of makes me sick and if I hadn't loved football all my life I would quit following it. Shit like that makes me question why I still do.

 

It's easy to get upset about that, but what most of these guys face after their playing days are up is pretty horrifying. They mortgage their body and mind to give us a great product.

 

I pay zero for the product. And they dont do it for us, they do it for the glory and $$ and ass.

Either way, pay them $20, or 20 billion i dont care.

Yeah, I'm ok with them making all that, although I wish the NFLPA would do more to take care of the older guys before these huge television contracts came along. If Cam continues to improve, I'm cool with him making what I quoted. He's going to be heinously overpaid by Hurney, but it's great to have a play-making quarterback and Hurney is going to overpay someone anyway. I'm just worried that there have been so many bad contracts that the roster will have to be gutted in 2015 to make Cam the highest paid player.
