Wallace may, but they'll never get the same value they could've before the draft. I can't think of the last, but I'm sure it's possible. There were no trade rumors after the draft. There was no indication that Carolina even looked hard at trade offers. They wanted to keep him and they drafted him onto a team with three starters. And, as I've pointed out so many times, Brown is an example I have to use because you clearly react very poorly to anyone actually saying anything about Hurney that's positive, which is more or less accepted.

Yes, two years later, a guy in his 30s who had come off a horrible 2010 wasn't wanted. I'm talking about 2009, not 2011.
I believe in my opinions. You want to create some kind of conspiracy. Speaking of being 'wrong', since you're into that, you'll have to go back and answer this, then:
So since "clearly" you're the calm, level headed one and "clearly" over here I'm "bothered" by it, you can answer to taking the above out of context very quickly and easily for your own purposes.

You mean like getting angry, calling someone names, and telling them what to do? Wait, no, not me. If it bothers you, be a grown up man and get past it.

It doesn't bother me, I'm going to talk about it.

Thanks for proving my point. You always blame this shit on me, but even when I give you an out twice, you chose to perpetuate the argument. So whenever you start whining again about how mean I am or how I make TBR unpleasant, remember this thread and how it shows the truth about you. You do seek out conflict, you are insulting to others, and you do get emotional about these arguments.

And for the record, B&B is the one who brought up that Hurney link, but it clearly indicates that Marty doesn't have a concrete vision for what he wants to do. It's one thing to say that you have targeted certain guys but you'll be willing to change if you're presented with an offer you can't refuse. Hurney stated quite clearly that they're not attached to any particular plan. Moreover, everyone else has repeatedly disagreed with you about Marty having any sort of long-term vision, and all the evidence disputes your assertion as well. Even you've complained about how they keep drafting WRs year after year.

I didn't want an out. I'm not bothered by this. But, what was funny was the *sigh* and all that emoting like a teen from the 90s thing. You're "giving me an out" I didn't ask for, while passive-aggressively continuing to whine about it. That's funny.

He said he was open. That he wasn't set in an ideology about a trade. That's not him talking about there being a lack of any thought process at all.

Yes. I have. It annoys the shit out of me. That doesn't mean I believe there is no plan. Not mutually exclusive.
