Yeah, he really doesn't belong in the NBA unfortunately.

I hoped that he would spend the off-season having catching passes since I think he dropped every one during the season. You don't need to a jumpshot to score as a big man, but you can't score at all if you have terrible hands.

Yeah, I like Walkers effort and heart, but being 6 feet tall with the type of game he likes to play just isn't going to work. I was hoping he could turn into a similar version of AI but without all the drama. I do hope it's just early and he can adjust with the new coach, scheme and players. I will say that he was the leader on the team last night. First to help somebody up, first to cheer, first in line to meet players coming off the court when he was on the side line, first to grab the guys and huddle up, etc. The Bobcats just need his game to represent half of that.

Now for Biz, I liked what I read in the latest article about him, he is doing 3 a day practices when none of the other players are from what the article says. Dunlap also seems to be working with him a lot, so really it's going to be how hard he works and does he have the ability to get better? I mean hell, I can go out there and practice everything I needed to play basketball in the NBA and I wouldn't make 99% of the high school teams out there, but anyways we can hope for now.

The other thing I am interested in seeing how it works out is Taylor. IF he continues to play well, how do they work him in more minutes? I would like to see how he stacks up against Henderson and Gordon. I am just thinking, can he play SG, probably not good enough handling the ball for that, but he would give you a lot of other advantages there, but then you are sitting 2 of your better players for this team in Henderson and Gordon. The other possible option is you try to slide MKG to PF, which I just don't think he can play against all team in the league at this point, maybe in a year or two as he grows and adds strength?

Whats the best 5 you can put on the court with this current roster and it actually work?

Well game 3 I didn't go to live, but did watch it on TV. Bobcats win this game 81-78, so that's 3-0 so far for the summer league. It is just the summer league, but of course the summer league is probably more important for the Bobcats than most other teams. I think their approach has been different than most teams.

Mullens actually played his best game ever for the Bobcats, he shot only selective 3's, so they were at the right time, in rhythm and not every other shot for him. He played more inside and did really well inside. Now of course he wasn't going against great talent so who knows how this will translate to the regular season.

Walker played a little better, was under control is passing the ball, ended up with 8 assist. His shot selection is still bad, but hopefully it's something he can work on. He just loves to drive into the lane with traffic and gets his shots blocked or altered wayyyyyyy to much.

Hunter had a really nice game 12 points and 9 rebounds. He may actually work himself into a roster spot if he can play the PF spot, but may be a little undersized for that.

I also like Brown and Owens again, I am hoping Brown takes Higgins spot and he is gone, but not sure that will happen with his daddy in the front office. He is a stronger playing guard which is nice considering how small out guards are overall.

I hope MKG gets healthy enough to play one or two of the last games out here. I hope it's really just a mild sprain or something, and doesn't turn into something serious.

For all the dukettes, sure hope Nolan Smith is ok and recovers from the concussion he had in an earlier game, he was playing really great that game.

Well the cats are 4-0 in summer league so far. I know it's summer league so doesn't mean much, but still it's a step in the right direction.

Walker had his best game, 19 points, 10 assists, shot over 50% and seemed to take better shots, still the same type of shots, which can be ok as long as he has the spacing and takes them at the right time.

Also, 6 players in double figures, so their best balanced attack. Defense is still whats winning games though, they are forcing a lot of turnovers, not sure how much press they will be able to play once they go up against top talent, but hopefully Dunlap will adjust and use it at the right moments.

Taylor looked really good again, he really was a steal at the 31st pick. Also, I would like to see Brown take Higgins spot on the roster and Hunter looks like a nice keeper as well, maybe they have him take Brown's roster spot. He can play the 4 as well, or at least in summer league.

I sure hope they are just being overly careful with MKG and his knee was just a sprain and not a tear of some type, missed his third game in a row.

I`m anxious to see the team as a whole to see how the chemistry is going to be.

I will say that I am more excited about this coming year more than I have been about NBA basketball and the Bobcats since the Hornets left town.

Well if they stay healthy, they could win 20-25 range I would think. Getting Haywood helps from a defensive standpoint and he is a true center. I think MKG and Taylor can both contribute as well and both are effort guys so hopefully that's contagious.
