    might have been similar, but the nets could pay him more as their own free agent re-signing. 4 years, $61 million. contracts this offseason are pretty rich so far -- especially considering we just had a lockout because contracts had gotten out of hand.

    Well he is an upgrade over Augustin, although marginal. So this means Augustin is gone, which is fine. 3 inches taller, better shooting percentage from 2pt range, shot the ball nice from 3pt range last year, better rebounding from the PG spot. While it's not great, is it an upgrade.

    It appears they are after Humphries again, rumored offer of 3 years for 22 million.

    That's per average less than he made last year (8 mil). He won't light up the world but a double double player is welcomed

    Damn Houston just amnestied Luis Scalia all to get more under cap to sign Howard or at least try. This is going to blow up on their face. What do they have to put around Howard if they get him and what could they add if tithe deal is 4 first rounders Plus players? They will suck even with Howard and those first will be golden.
