    Good point on Davis.

Marty Hurney is always saying we're taking the best available player no matter the position. We just did that! A very nice selection.

we had two guys who fit inside in a 3-4. If you want 3-4 you pick a rusher that's 260.

They like his coverage a lot better than I did, but I didn't see him as much as I wanted. Coverage was a fucking terrible spot for LB for us. But I'm a little concerned that he can't blitz, and concerned for what his pick might mean for the guys we do have.

Right. We simply could not assume Davis would be healthy. We needed depth at LB anyway. Pick makes a ton of sense.

We're going to regret passing on Fletcher Cox.

just so I can look back on it in the future, I gotta admit if we were going to draft a LB I liked Hightower more. But Kuechly is more athletic, DH is an upfield player and can rush, and we need that from a blitzer (we have, essentially, none).

I don't think we'll regret that hard on Cox. I don't think we would've drafted a DT. It was Coples or Kuechly, in my opinion. Kuechly had no concerns about whether or not he was going to play hard, right or wrong.
