Time for some process of elimination . . .

Top 8 by most accounts -

    Luck - Indy's guy
RGIII - Skins traded up just for him
Kalil - Minn has expressed as top guy for them
Richardson - either browns or rams
Blackmon - either browns or rams
Claiborne - Bucs apparently want him
Kuechly - Unlikely to be top 10 because of those teams needs (or lack thereof)
DeCastro - Unlikely to be top 10 because even if he is BPA and a "sure thing" he is only a G, and it's just not hip to ever draft a G in the top 10!

Very likely that the panthers will not get one of the above, evening if Kuechly or DeCastro are available because even if they ARE best player available those positions are not a high enough need.

So then there are the second 8 players that are not top 10 worthy for whatever reasons -

Coples - seems like the most likely panther pick regardless of the "lazy" label
Ingram - Panthers have publicly stated that he is not a fit for us
Cox - we already have several projects at DT they seem to feel good enough about
    Brockers - ditto Cox
Gilmore - seems to have overtaken Kirkpatrick and Jenkins as #2 CB
Reiff - apparently a distant second to Kalil and dropping out of top 10 talk
Martin - 3rd best OT in this group = really bad value
Tannehill - still not sure how he gets in the upper half of the 1st

SO, unless there is the unlikely trade down for us (or Claiborne beats a cops ass in the next couple of days) Coples WILL be the second coming of Julius at #9.

Chargers | Have talked about trading up for Mark Barron
    Mon, 23 Apr 2012 22:54:33 -0700

The San Diego Chargers have strong interest in Alabama SS Mark Barron, and they have discussed potentially trading up for him.

Bills | Very interested in Mark Barron
    Tue, 24 Apr 2012 19:13:09 -0700

The Buffalo Bills are "extremely interested" in Alabama SS Mark Barron, according to a league source. Barron and South Carolina CB Stephon Gilmore are both candidates to be taken by the Bills with the No. 10 overall pick in the NFL Draft Thursday, April 26.

The Pats could also make a play for Barron:

Makes sense given that there's a bigger gap between him and the next guy at his position than anyone else.

Kuelchy is a MLB? Any chance we draft him then either move him or Beason outside? I remember Beason being projected as an OLB at one point.

You should also remember Beason playing OLB in 2010 and not looking very good.

    I like this scenario

    1 Indy- Luck
    2 skins- rg3
    3 rams trade with Vikes-Richardson
    4 browns- Blackmon
    5 bucs- Claiborne
6 Vikes trade with rams- Gilmore
    7 jags- coples
    8 fins- Tannehill
    9 panthers- Kalil

Dream scenario, but we'd have one hell of an o-line, if healthy.

    Kalil, Bell?, Kalil, Otah, Gross

No way Kalil falls to #9 but I would take it if he did. He is almost certainly going number 3 to the Vikings.
