Imagine if Crabtree had actually torn an ACL in that game..... This is some pretty bad stuff. I hope this is isolated and that every team in the NFL is not guilty of this.

Saints are the only ones :sifone:

Seriously though, JR would not knowingly allow that shit. In my opinion.

I am not condoning it but going after a players weakness (hurting body part) is done in all sports (basketball, football) it's just the graphic nature in which Williams talked about it, not to mention the Saints using a bounty on it. I've been listening to NFL radio a lot lately and almost every player says a play is over too quick to selectively pick a body part to go after. Goodell has to uphold any punishment to coaches as he has really picked up on players hits in the name of player safety. If he lets Peyton and Williams off how could he not suspend/fine players.

Saints fucked up by lying to Goodell and kept doing it.

I must have missed the news when Crabtree tore his ACL.

There is a component of this that is about creating new injuries, not just test old ones.

caught some NFLN the other day covering George Allen... he used to pick up players fines & shit, called out one player who stepped on someones hand, said he wasn't upset at what he did, he was upset he didn't break it

they really loved playing for that guy.. agreed it's not something the Saints invented
