Tells GM make us a winner or I'm selling. How about spending some cash and overpaying some decent players so they have a shot at winning. I could care less if he sells. He has been a disaster as an owner twice now

that doesn't make much sense, really. jordan shit all over this team. i'm not a big larry brown fan, but i wonder if his departure was due to jordan indicating he was going to blow up the team and start over. not that brown ever needed more than a stiff breeze to leave a team before.

but then again, jordan seems absolutely fucking clueless as a gm -- which is incredibly confusing given his basketball iq. maybe being insanely gifted as a player leaves him with little ability to understand lesser player's limitations.

also, the idea of mimicking the "oklahoma city model" is really misses the mark. you can't mimic okalhoma city without first mimicking seattle -- and we all know what that means: the total collapse, sale, and relocation of a franchise. hmmm.... maybe that article *is* accurate.

of course he is frustrated...he is one of the best ever to play and he has to watch mediocraty (sp?) at best on a nightly basis. I say Kentucky Wildcats would beat Bobcats.

If he is frustrated here are a few ideas on why he is:

He drafted Adam Morrison ahead of several other better players and almost everyone who has ever held a basketball could see the bust coming.

He traded Okafor, for salary cap relief. That left us with no viable big man, other than a banged up Chandler for one season.

He got rid of Jackson and Wallace while keeping guys like Carrol, Diop and Diaw (until recently).

Three first round picks have been spent on point guards, not sure if Jordan was here for picking Felton. Why not draft some big men? Brook Lopez over DJ maybe???

Actually the Morrison draft selection and trade of Okafor were on Robert Johnson. Jordan has only had the team what 2 full years now? Okafor wasn't all that anyway.

Morrison was all Michael. It was shortly after he came on as the minority partner and Johnson basically said he could do what he wanted.

I thought it would be a few years before Okafor wound up in player purgatory, but its been fairly quick.
